Once purchased, organisations will receive access to the REFOCUS subscription portal where they will find 20 user-friendly themed games day write-ups with appendices and 20 wellbeing talks write-ups with appendices, that can be run as weekly lunchtime sessions. Each of these theme days has been developed alongside world-leading research in the field of psychological wellbeing and incorporates key principles for maintaining student wellbeing into every session.
A REFOCUS support officer will be assigned to your organisation once payment is received. The program requires an investment of ideally four locally sourced volunteers for optimal functioning and delivery. Your organisation must provide these volunteers; however, your REFOCUS support officer can consult on this process and provide personalised assistance where possible. If these staffing requirements are unachievable, the program can be adjusted for delivery by a minimum of two volunteers. Your support officer can also consult on how best to manage these adjustments. In-person visitations to your organisation by your officer can also be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
The package also includes training for volunteers, who will be instructed on running the program effectively, efficiently, and safely. The REFOCUS team will organise training days to ensure volunteers are confident in their roles and deliver a quality experience for all students. Training days will be organised once a year, with subsequent support offered by your REFOCUS support officer.
The "EASY AS" package for $1500 includes ALL you need, including a kit valued at $500*. We also provide, for the first initial year; one training day, one visit per term by a REFOCUS support officer and termly in-person or phone catch-ups/support to touch base with how the program, your volunteers & most importantly you are going. There will be subsequent fees for ongoing support & training after the first initial year.
However, if, instead, your organisation would prefer to source their own physical materials, the "DIY" package offers a reduced rate of $1000. In this case, REFOCUS will provide your organisation with a list of required and suggested materials you to purchase yourself. You will still receive the theme day games and talk write-ups, training & support as in the "EASY AS" package.
